Hello everyone! Over the past few months, I’ve participated in several blog carnivals, and I just love the idea and the concept.
Because of this, I have decided to host one of my own! The carnival will be called the 1st Carnival of Money Tips. It will be targeted towards everyone – the idea is to have a great collection of articles focused on what anyone can do to save, make, or manage their money better. I’ll post the top 10 or 15 if there are really high quality ones! You do NOT have to already have a blog or be published to submit to this carnival, anyone can submit!
Send your submissions – either the full text or a link to your article – to fhbguy@gmail.com, but be sure to read the guidelines below.
There are a few rules which I have to set up, as I’ve seen in the past just how ridiculous some submissions can get. Anything not following these guidelines will be rejected immediately!
Each author may submit up to two posts, but only one will be published per author. You must submit your own work – no plagiarism or content theft!
The post may have been published before, but a preference will be given to fresh material.
Blog carnivals are a way to drive traffic and show off your writing skills and originality. Posts covering material commonly seen that is not presented in a new or amusing fashion will not be used.
Submitting your post gives me the right to re-post it (with credit and a link of course) on Financial Health Guy.
A blog carnival is not a place to sell your wares. Any spam or posts that are primarily promotional or sales-oriented will automatically disqualify the author from this and all future carnivals at Financial Health Guy and all related sites.
The submission deadline will be Friday, July 31 2009 at midnight, so be sure to send them in soon!
The four categories will be: Saving Money, Making Money, Managing Money, and Other.
And I think that’s it! I reserve the right to edit posts for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors (to keep with the rest of the site), but will not change the overall content.
